Cranberry Twist - 2004 AQHA/FQHR Incentive Fund Mare. Regretfully, we are offering CB for sale. We just have too many horses and not enough time. The ONLY reason I am selling this mare is because we have three children involved in sports and other activities and we are having to spend most of our free time at ball games. I never intended to sell this mare. But, since I have to breed her to outside studs every year, it makes the most sense to start with her. We are selling her as breeding sound only. This mare had EPM back in 2008. We did treat her, but she is still a little off in her hind end. She does not limp, just looks a little stiff at a lope. You would never notice anything at all if it wasn't pointed out to you ahead of time. She could probably be ridden lightly, but I would be a little leary about loping her much. She is very gentle and was an absolute dream to ride. She has had no problems conceiving or carrying a pregnancy. Has taken first time both times we bred her and bred right back this year. She is in foal to perlino stallion Two Eyed Snowbuck. He is the sire of her 2010 buckskin roan filly. Her 2010 filly is already sold. She will sell as a 2-1 package in foal for a 2011 foal. Peponita Gold Gal 1994 AQHA Buckskin mare- Nita is a super sweet mare with an awesome pedigree. I made a special trip to Tennessee just for her! She was well worth it! Nita did have a fractureed scapula before we got her, but it does not bother her at all now and she gets around great! Nita has been a GREAT producer for us. I wish I could keep her, but we have just got to get our numbers down. Nita is easy to get in foal, but she does require progesterone shots to keep her that way. This does add an expense of about $500 per pregnancy. I did not breed her back last year or this year. Since we have owned her, she has had a cremello, two buckskins, and a blue roan. Color every time. If you are looking for a mare with an awesome pedigree to breed for a prospect to keep, she would be the way to go. She will give you one heck of a baby!
